What’s Good: We have some of the best touring roads in California: Petaluma to Bodega Bay; Skaggs Rd. from Dry Creek to Sea Ranch; Santa Rosa to Sonoma; Highway 1 from Bodega to Gualala. Plenty of other secondary two-lane roads that invite Sunday-drive enjoyment. Geography to match the variety: The Pacific shoreline; Lake Sonoma; vineyards; redwood forests; rolling hills; coastal mountains and valleys; the Russian and Petaluma rivers; San Pablo Bay. Food to go with the experience: Our fruit, wines, breads, meats, beers, produce and cheeses are so good that once food critic once compared Sonoma County to Provence. Having lots of other Sonoma County-area Jaguar owners to share your enthusiasm with. Having British European Motors as the place to go when you need repairs or restoration. Having British European Motors as the place to go when you want to check out some nice used Jaguars (and other British makes). What’s Not So Good: Having to drive 40 or 50 miles one way to Marin County for warranty service – the waste of an entire day or more. Not being able to buy a new Jaguar in Sonoma County. Being treated as a second-class consumer |
